Big Update!
Hey! Im very happy to announce that we made a few big steps forward in finishing the calendar beta version! Our coder (God bless him!) went rampage for the last few days and gave us cool new update! Starting from long awaited clicking in titles to get some more info to watching anime online in damn good DivX quality!
Main Page:
- Twitter and Facebook icons on the top-right side of the page.
- Clicking on titles available, giving you lots of info
- Small news/notes system on the main page (you can read previous notes clicking the small arrows << >> on the left or right side of the note)
- Clicking on your username will direct you to your profile, after clicking on settings you will have options for your profile too.
- New link in menu ‘Anime List’
- Small covers that are shown on summary popups
- Check next month on the calendar, you will see text ‘Probably airing in this month:’ - there will be shown episodes without exact air dates, something like waiting-room, after we will know the exact dates, episode will disappear from there.
- Final episodes are marked with purple icon.
Settings:
- You can choose what titles you want to see - English/Romaji or Japanese
- You can switch on or off the small covers showing in summary popups
Anime List:
- Listing every title that we have on calendar
- Options - Show all or Show only recommended (recommended by the staff of animecalendar.net
)
- Top100 if you will look for something to watch
Filters:
- Series are divided to Shows and Archive (series that are older than 1 year) to eliminate long titles searching in filters
- Titles are coloured (airing, upcoming series, finished) to help you find fresh series.
Series Page (example):
- Basic info, alternative titles etc.
- Links to aniDB, animenewsnetwork, animeNFO, anime-planet and official anime site.
- Icons saying if anime is recommended (gold stars - if recommended than active) and if you can watch this title online (animeFTW.tv logo - if available online icon will be active)
- Nice big cover.
- Episodes listing, list upcoming episodes or all episodes (click-able, click there and check
- If anime is available to watch online, small TV icons next to episode titles (on the list) will appear - click in active - it will redirect you straight to animeFTW.tv and the episode you want to watch.
Watching series online is possible because of animeFTW.tv, remember that animeFTW.tv and AnimeCalendar.net are two different websites. AnimeCalendar.net doesn’t take responsibility for videos that doesn’t work. In order to enjoy those very nice quality episodes you will have to create an account via animeFTW.tv and install DivX Web Player. Quality of the videos is worth it! Enjoy!
